What paying actually buys you
The part most sites skip
A hexagram is not one meaning. It is a judgment, an image, six line texts, and a changed hexagram when lines move. Paid tiers get all of it resolved against the specific lines that moved in your own cast.
Six Relatives, done properly
Liu Yao assigns each line a family relation and a stem-branch pair, then reads them against the day and month of the cast. It is the classical method behind most modern "I Ching readings", and almost nobody shows their work.
History that persists
A cast made in March is evidence in June. Subscribers keep every reading, with the question and the date, so a series of casts can be read as one conversation.
Your data stays yours
Free readings never leave your browser. Subscriber readings are stored only when you ask them to be, and can be deleted at any time.
Frequently asked
Is XUANJI really free?
Yes. Every reading tool — I Ching casting, BaZi chart, name analysis and the tarot spread — is free to use, three full readings per day, no account required. You only pay if you want more readings, saved history, or a service performed by a person.
Do I need an account?
No. Free readings work immediately, identified by a cookie in your browser. An account becomes relevant when you subscribe, so your history follows you across devices.
What counts as one reading?
One reading means one completed interpretation: one cast hexagram with all moving lines resolved, one BaZi chart with luck pillars, or one name analysis. Browsing the 64 hexagram pages and the learning guides is always free and never counted.
How is a talisman or ritual actually delivered?
A practitioner draws or performs the rite, photographs or films it, and the file plus a written note is attached to your order. You can check the status of your order at any time with the order link we email you.
Can I pay with USDT?
Yes. Choose USDT at checkout and you get a deposit address on the chain you prefer, with the exact amount. Orders are marked paid once the transfer is confirmed; confirmation is manual, usually within a few hours.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are handled by Lemon Squeezy and can be cancelled from the receipt email at any time. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
Is my birth data stored?
Only if you are a subscriber and choose to save a reading. Free readings are computed entirely in your browser and never sent to a server. See the privacy page for details.
How is this different from other I Ching sites?
Most sites give you a fixed paragraph per hexagram. XUANJI resolves the actual moving lines, builds the changed hexagram, and applies the Six Relatives and Na Jia framework used in traditional Liu Yao practice — the method behind the text, not just the text.
